Donhead St Andrew

The nearest tower to us is Donhead St Andrew, which has 4 bells, the tenor weighing 8 cwt.   For further information, please see their website Donhead St Andrew ... but don't forget to come back here afterwards!

14 of our ringers are members of the Salisbury Diocesan Guild of Ringers (SDGR), as is our Ringing Master, who is affiliated through the tower of Motcombe..   The Guild exists to promote and encourage Sunday service ringing throughout the Diocese.   It is just one of many guilds and associations that exist nationwide, affiliated to the Central Council of Church Bell Ringers (CCCBR).

The SDGR has an excellent website, with an explanation of ringing, locations of towers, links, publicity, and much, much more! To see their site, click SDGR .

For nationwide bell ringing links, go to the CCCBR website CCCBR .
If you are interested in Doubles Methods, there is an excellent site. Click here to view it.

Another good site, whcih lists everything you could ever want to know about ringing ... and some of it is very technical! .. is run by Roger Bailey. Click here to view it.
